Dr. Dave Bennardo

Dr. Dave Bennardo has been a Huntington Council member since 2022, having previously served as Superintendent of South Huntington and Principal of Harborfields High School. Dr. B currently resides on Selden Drive in East Northport, and his daughter, Tiana, and son-in-law, Dylan, live locally with his grandchildren, Lula and Gia, just a mile away.  Dr. B's son, Connor, and his fiancée, Julia, reside in Greenlawn, and his youngest, Jenelle, has just graduated from Jacksonville University and accepted a job in the neonatal intensive care unit.

 

As you can see, Councilman Bennardo has deep roots in Huntington and genuinely loves serving the people of our Town. Dr. B is not a politician, but rather a representative of his community, and he remains both loyal and committed to the people who elected him. Councilman Bennardo looks forward to continuing the work his team started during their first term and will forever put the people of Huntington first in every decision. As with his previous election and throughout his years in school leadership, Dr. Bennardo maintains a positive message and avoids resorting to negative campaigning or personal attacks on his opponents. Dr. B has too much respect for the public to fill their mailboxes with the attack-based material, which unfortunately characterizes contemporary elections. Dr. B. firmly believes that elected officials have a responsibility to model the behaviors they hope to see in our children, and as a result, will stick to the issues and stand proudly on their record of achievement.
